Poonam Verma trained in Ayurvedic medicine in Ahmedabad, India, where she holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and has practised for over 20 years — Initially at a Hospital and finally at her own clinic, Absolute Wellness, with training in Panchakarma and a specialisation in wellness and constitutional care.
She came to the hills of Piemonte and found, in the landscape around Loazzolo, something she recognised: a culture that had arrived at many of the same conclusions about slowness, seasonality, and the intelligence of the land. VEDA is what happened when those two traditions began their conversation.
In Italy, Poonam practises as an Ayurvedic wellness practitioner, offering Ayurvedic massage and treatments in Piedmont. Every session begins with listening — a constitutional assessment, a conversation about what is happening in your body right now. What follows is shaped entirely by what that listening reveals. She works with herb-infused oils, classical techniques, and the particular attention that comes from two decades of practice.
